Widened existing two-lane road to four lanes through urban and residential areas from South Monroe Street to Blair Stone Road. The project included approximately 10,500 linear feet of 6-ft x14-ft box culverts, storm drainage, sanitary sewer, potable water, sidewalks, curb and gutter, and landscaping in addition to the road widening. The challenges of this project included installing a double run of large box culverts in a major drainage ditch, relocating utilities including a 36-inch diameter sewer main, and constructing the westbound lanes on top of the box culverts.
